@horsepaintings Yes she was. But she didn't drive she rode with somone else... When she got back she told me that she was 1 out of 27 horses to reach the summit in 100 years!!!
@HorseLuvaWWELuva Likely that we passed her on the Road-- the riders were coming down as the carriages were going up. There were 5 carriages, 4 of which made the summit. The Auto Road media director told me that the horses were all "champions!" I agree!!!
@EchoHarmonic It IS beautiful in NH-- but not exactly horse friendly in the wintertime! Our boys do nothing all winter but paw around in the snow looking for something organic to chew on. Tree bark is one of their favorites.
What a beautiful video, I have been up Mt. Washington many times but going by horse and wagon is the best.
