@chenmarvincent9043 That's because the "vampires" you are seeing aren't truly vampires. They are ghouls. This is stated in the anime. They are nothing more than soulless humans resurrected and doomed to do their creator's bidding until they are finally put out of their misery. So yes, essentially they are zombies. However, the true vampires in the anime (such as Alucard and Seras) are far from being mindless zombies.
