  • At least you lived to ride gain, hope the leg gets sortedd

  • uh, you might want to go get that leg checked out.

  • running wide into the on-coming lane! choochoo here comes the squid train!

  • Steering damper would have help there and might have saved you from that crashing situation.

  • 0:10 you shit in your pants

  • Looks like amateur hour. Lucky you didn't ride into on coming traffic.

  • Your skin is still numb after 5 years??

  • I watched the video atleast 20 times, you just came in too fast...panic'd and hit your front brakes too hard.

  • @Jessedoespoo exactly! i watched this video a year ago and figured they both screwed up in that turn. you can clearly see there was no gravel on the road where he CLAIMS there was. this was just a noob mistake. the dude crashing was just retarded.

  • main cause? riding too close, panicked and grabbed the front brake in the turn-in

  • A couple of years ago I over took a van who was slowing down to turn not seeing a metro pull out at the same time. my foot up to my knee looked like that and I wrote off the car and my poor sms husqvarna ..... the moral of this story is shit happens so its worth spending the extra penny on leathers because when you crash it fucking ....hurts and any real rider will know that.....

  • My left leg suface skin feels also numb, cause a guiet similar accident.

  • give u a hint .. when your riding in a group leave like 20 - 30 yard grap nd not 10 this is a good demo of what would happen .. look painful what happened 2 your leg though

  • Target fixation. You go where you look. I'm glad you were okay. I wrecked my 05 last year and walked away thanks to gear and leathers. I Was a bit of a nutcase on mountain roads.

  • Well at least you didn't blame a "cager"

  • dude imagine if you had no safety gear on!

  • @peterinfamilyguy - that's why I wear gear :) Will not ride in anything but.

  • @dmpwa Wait a minute, man, you're not out there rding anything any more? C'mon buddy, you should at least take a ride with a scooter or something - at least! I mean, don't you just miss that air stroking your body while driving a bike through beautiful enviroments? :D

  • hoho c con ;)

  • i have zx6r for sale the same blue ;]

  • went out on a normal zx6r and came home with a rat bike

  • U got urself a zombie leg !

  • @qpae123 - lol :) Glad I didn't turn completely! :)

  • Damn.... yeah bit of speed wobble started out of control with sudden braking in a bit of a curve and unexpected eh? But I guess riding that close to someone isn't good in most cases.

    Massive bruise!

  • @Frejborg I wasn't close until he did a brake check :D

  • unlucky fall there, i thought youd made it til the last second. Completely not your fault. Hope the camera bike rider was very sorry! This is why I ride alone :P

  • wow the exact same thing happened to me except we were mtn riding and i fell 15 ft off the side. i have the same bike, same year and same color and ours looks the exact same after the wreck.

  • slammed on his front brake...

  • If ur not falling off ur not trying hard enough :P

  • IM STILL RIDING...AND YOU ARE A WARRIOR FOR GOING THROUGH ALL THAT FOR 5 YRS MUCH RESPECT....ME I PROBABLY WOULD'VE BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THAT TELEPHONE PHONE AND TORE IT DOWN FUCKIN POLES THEY ARE ONLY GOOD FOR ONE THING AND I THINK WE ALL KNOW WHAT THAT IS

  • Damn. So your leg has gotten worse after the crash? Are you gonna loose it? After watching the pictures I got second thoughts about buying a motorcycle, but Im still gonna buy it.

  • @unico5616 dude...sooo much shit could go wrong. Just go to crazyshit(dot)com and look up motorcycle accidents. Accidents can suck, Im lucky I have made it through the one ive had

  • oh boy... that bruise looks like your leg is falling off.....

  • Ouch.............

  • 0:44 windows xp I know :)

  • danggg

  • So...how is the leg now? Does it still look bruised? What was the diagnosis for the discoloring?

  • @CarionSF - was just a bruise. The leg is weird now; if I press to the inside of my shin bone; still feels like a fresh and painful bruise. The skin feels weird, too. Otherwise, nothing hampering mobility

  • did ya use just front brake or apply some rear because the bike just looked unstable like no rear brake was used ?

  • @MrNewyork1975 - I hit both brakes, but came off the rear brake and didn't let go of the front enough to make the turn.

  • et il est content =D

    ... -_-"

  • bro 5 year later still looks like that shit.... u need to get it checked out

  • @xFlow777 - 5 years later my leg looks fine. :) The bruising lasted a month or two.

  • Bunch of freakin amateurs...

  • nothing broken? press 3.

  • that's what the leg looked like NOT broken :S

  • Gdyby urzył więcej tylnego hamulca niż przedniego to nic by się nie stało.

  • note to self: don't crash

  • 5 years later? wtf?! hope u got by now, and i feel sorry for ur wheels!!! (ur just bones and flesh that will live on) XD

  • are you guys that bad you cant even stay in your own lane? dont canyon if you can do it dude, your not cool.

  • @IBangedHerTwice - no, we are good enough to swing a LITTLE wide to avoid gravel in our lane. Just past where I went down is a 1/2 mile straight. We both swung wide to avoid the gravel in our lane ONLY because we could see there was no on-coming traffic. Thanks for your rush to judgement! :)

  • @dmpwa oh jeez. you didnt swing "a LITTLE". look at the video. you were close to the white line of the other lane! the gravel didnt come out that far im sure. but its ok. your buddy who wrecked obviously shouldnt be behind anyone while riding. so keep telling yourself you guys are good riders, but this video shows you cant handle certain enviornments - so you dont belong on a bike. but this goes more to your friend suppose, not really you.

  • @dmpwa Good enough is staying in your own lane. Fuck swinging wide on the streets, seriously-avoiding gravel(sand, broken glass, oil, etc) I call bs (bullshit). Only crazy people ride like that, get lucky and then justify the survival (avoiding gravel...) WTF. You could have died or been maimed had you hit that pole differently at those speeds. Sand or gravel should be the least of your concerns with they way you guys are riding. Now I know how people die or maim themselves on two wheels.

  • you should do acupunture, i fall down once and my arm dislocate and after putting the arm in the right place i did acupunture and never felt anything in the arm, i think you should try, probably your leg gonna be ok again.

  • that happened to me too...you have to know who is leading your way coz... shit like that happen

  • Oh, iI feel with my left knee the same like you, I sould better say I feel nothing. I had a motorcycle accident in 2009, my front weel blocked on a wet road while breacking. Do u fell your leg now? please write me ! Greetings from Transilvania.

  • Too much fun in one day... heheh ; )

  • doctor said "ouch! big bruise!" still hurts actually...6? years later...however long it's been.

  • @dmpwa do u still ride

  • what did the doctor say about that leg dude its nasty!!!!

  • Nice little game of follow-the-leader.

  • Live and learn, I hope you still ride, accidents happen. I know what you mean about the leg being numb still. I broke my femur and tore my knee up in a wreck a couple years ago and I still can't really feel my leg below my knee. After that wreck I gave up the street riding and just race and do track days. I'd rather be on the track anyway. Maybe some of these guys can quit insulting and start learning from videos like this!

  • Well itwas a nice high speed endo before you cocked it up, anyway! Glad you're ok.

  • wow! theres a light pole there

  • You guys with big-sized engine have your ego bigger than your brains. Get a low-powered moped first. After you've become mature on the road, buy this ZX-6R, R1, etc.

  • never follow other ppl lines on the street

  • @frekeyguy nor snort them!

  • @frekeyguy Why not?

  • The brakes and speed had very little to do with the crash. What did cause it was the fact that the rider who crashed was target fixating on the rider in front of him. The rider in front for some unknown reason got out of his lane. The crasher followed that line due to fixation. Therefore followed the bike in front and could not complete the turn. That's why it's important whether you are in a car or on a bike to watch where you want to go and not follow your eyes on a object in front of you.

  • ouch

  • Left with a normal zx6r, came home with a street fighter.

  • @Cephalatroph left home with a normal zx6r and came home with a badly beaten street fighter only to search for parts on glumtree!! we all do!

  • @Cephalatroph hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so funny, good u came back with it. others would lose either there-selves or their bikes :P

  • I have that numb/ asleep feeling all the time. starts at my tail bone, and goes up to my mid back. Doctors cant explain it, had to take x rays, and they did nothing. Your very lucky! Cheer getting back up, and riding!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I think that if the front motorcycle had not stopped so much he well be fine, mi english is bad sory!! keep on rolling!!

  • i lowsided my zx6r this afternoon, but not at high speed, bike is still in good nick a bit of touch up paint and a new slider for the side and she'll be good to go.

oh and i need to sand paper my mirror back, that will be fun.... not

  • Why did the guy with the camera mounted brake in the apex like that?

  • @revdesigns Magic question, man. We dont know.

  • @dmpwa Sorry for the accident too, but awesome job not colliding with the camera-rider, saw the back wheel come up for a second I think? Wrote my original post with a broken shoulder and knee from a crash into a car but looking at this again it seems like he was expecting a longer or sharper turn than the second (your left) turn was.

  • @dmpwa how much experience did you have before the accident and why did you follow him onto the wrong side of the road?

Not meaning to be a rude dickhead, (which is normally said just before being a rude dickhead) but your body movement on the bike, the little body lifts and line changes before the accident would say that you weren't that experienced at riding fast or one of your front fork legs had a problem and the bike wasn't staying stable on the turns. That could have been why you crashed.

  • @youkilltube - Uh...that'd be a funny comment if it were not patently false. Speed has never caused a wreck. Poor judgment causes wrecks.

  • i'm sorry for your :( you are lucky,verry lucky !

  • @suzukilifeanddanger - I am! Had I hit an ankle or knee against that poll - wowo! I'd still be walking w/ a limp.

  • @dmpwa Do you still bike?

  • OUCH !!! Thumbs up for the vid though ;-D

  • Too much foot brake lead to crash but man that leg was NASTY

  • @ti3nt - naw...not so much. I rarely used teh foot brake. Too much FRONT brake lead to the crash...see, I didn't let go of the brakes after the guy in front of me did the hard brake check mid-corner. Had I let go, I likely would have been able to complete the turn, w/o running wide into the gravel.

  • Hindsights always a bitch though ay :) But eah my bad, got them mixed up, footbrake just makes you slide out, front make it wobble if you pull it too hard mid turn right?

  • @dmpwa "Too much FRONT brake lead to the crash" Spot on, You where having a ball up to then ! Keep well and the shiny side up. Best wishes, M

  • so lucky... I wiped my 08 zx6r out softer than that and I got totaled.

  • Use both brakes. The rear brake helps remind me where to keep my weight.

  • how fast were you going?

  • @TheHusky9 - speed limit. :)

  • @dmpwa good way to put it lol

  • @dmpwa Speed limit my ass lol. but limits are meant to be broken. Had the same bike but the RR, had an unfortunate run in with a four legged creature.

  • @dmpwa Why did you guys ride into the oncoming lane?

  • what the fuck, it got worse and worse or was that backwards??

  • @entyceit - Yes - the bruising got worse over the period of a week - that's pretty normal really.

  • omfg... that leg... thx god it was a leg, and not yout face o chest

  • glad no1 was killed! nice footage

  • camera bike brake check FTL

  • glad you made it though it okay.

  • Damnnn. thats like a super bruise.

  • arrrr the old tank slap...nasty!

  • be safe .. that's a nasty woond

  • ah i know this feeling allll tooo wellll... you get used to it after a while

  • dude that was fucking sick lmao i mean the aftermath of the pole, good to see you got up after and walked/limped away, but wow never seen anything like that before, thanks for sharing 5/5 stars

  • did you not see the guy slowing down? just curious what was running through your mind. glad you are okay man.

  • I was looking through the corner - the guy in front of me did a near-break check mid-turn; caught me completely off guard.

  • You looked for an exit & did the right thing. Sorry the pole was there but it can't be perfect all the time.

I had to hit a dog once. It always makes me feel awful to think about it.

    God bless.

  • That leg might have to come off.

  • oh my god what is wrong with ur leg

  • glad ur ok
