I'm from Michigan and obviously love the Red Wings. This fight, is one of those rare moments where I have respect for both who were fighting. Mainly because it was even, pretty clean, and they looked to fight with respect. At the end, they let go when the refs came to seperate them, rather than continue on. I'm from Michigan and obviously love the Red Wings. This fight, is one of those rare moments where I have respect for both who were fighting. Mainly because it was even, pretty clean, and they looked to fight with respect. At the end, they let go when the refs came to seperate them, rather than continue on. So, if I were Downey, I would have shook hands with the other guy. Just to show respect. I love hockey, and sure the fighting is fun, but I love it more, when all teams show respect.
