@004Daniel I guess Ariel started growing up & became more curious of the outside world? Think of it as her solving one mystery then going out to solve a harder mystery. In my opinion, all 3 movies have done well in putting depth into Ariel's life. Not only does it cover her future, but also her past, & while doing that also helps put more character into her family. It would explain a lot on why Titan would hate humans too. Though, kudos for your idea it would be interesting too!

OK, I just don't understand this-Ariel at the moment is about 15 right? In the original movie she was about 15 or 16 (can't remember which), she had a fasination with humans and a gaint treasure trove of their stuff from sunken ships. In this movie she seems perfectally happy to be a mermaid, and has no interest in humans. I really don't see a way for her to develope her fasination AND giant collection the the space of a few months. Can anyone answer this? Cuase its annoying me :(
