You can in the VS. Version.

He comes out in the Bonus stage and you can shoot him there.

He comes back in casts and bandages and tells you to be careful. I stick two fingers up and do it again because he get's what he deserves!

There wasn't a SNES version of this and of what LakituAI said, you can shoot the dog in the Arcade version (in VS mode).

Also, how do you do to record sound on Camstudio?

For some reason, Camstudio's default setting is "Do no record audio".

Well, I think it is because the system automatically assumes you don't have a sound card (like in my case, for example).

I believe there is a version of Duck Hunt that can be played thru the Opera browser on the Wii. However its still not as good as the real NES but if you want a quick fix on the Wii that's the closest thing to it at the moment.
