At my brother's university they are doing the opposite; they now call a 90%-93% an "A-" (A minus) instead of just an A. An A- is worth 3.75 on your GPA instead of a 4.0, so now you can't have a perfect 4.0 unless you have higher than 93% instead of just a 90%.

I agree with you on this one. I think it should be kept the way it is, it's not going to change anything and the only place the kids will end up if they keep getting E's, F's, H's etc. is Mcdonalds or some low end job because they can't apply themselves.
Thumbs up on this one. Some of the others, not so much.

so now its just happening again with F.
soon it will happen again with H
until all the kids grow up and theyll say 'why the hell do we have a T grade??? lets make it E, nice and easy, A, B, C, D, E.

Grades aren't there to measure what you know. They are there to tell you how well you were able to do your work.
If you get an F it was because you did not complete the assignment or you didn't do a good job. Simple as that.

If you can't follow simple instructions and the work isn't right then of course your work will get a pretty bad grade.
It doesn't depend on the teacher because they grade work in the same general fashion.
If you are given a 20 question test and you only got ten right, then your grade is 50% which is an F.
If you can't do the work then you won't get a passing grade. Learn how to do it so that you can DO IT RIGHT and then your grades will improve.

In case you didn't know. Tobacco and alcohol does nothing compared to the other drugs. In regards to Tobacco, are you refering to pure TOBACCO cigars or common cigarettes that big companies stuff with tar, nicotine, and a bunch of other shit?
If you do those drugs excessively then you will have serious health issues, but you can also die from drinking too much water....
