  • Your turntable actually has a standard 1/2" mount cartridge that is permanently attached to the tonearm. The stylus for this turntable is really easy and cheap to replace... the model number for the stylus is Audio-Technica ATN3600L if you want to look it up online.

  • @OldMusicOnVinyl1 Cheers, but i replaced the stylus like 2 months ago :) all is working. Cheers. Joe.

  • Any luck with this Joe? Definitely a standard P-mount as everyone's mentioned, should be pretty inexpensive and quickly improved the sound quality and not damage any of your vinyls.

  • @BioCYTE1 Yeah apparently my cartridge is glued into place, so it looks like i will just replace the stylues, its cheap. i need to get a tad more money and ill have it sorted. Thanks for wtahcing my frind. Cheers. Joe.

  • @Joespencer92 Anytime. Good luck with it, sucks to be in that sort of a position. Needledoctor's website is a pretty decent site next to eBay for replacements and upgrades. Not sure bout UK s/h though. Good luck!

  • @BioCYTE1 yeah ive checked that website, its good. I know where to get the stylus from though, a UK website. Thanks mate! Joe.

  • Yep. Any P mount cart should work. They were designed for easy use. Pop one off and pop one on. They are nice intro setups. I used one for years. Later you can move up to a regular mount type turntable. More involved but better sound. Just depends how far you get into the audio gear.

  • @greeno22 Cheers, Im probably gunna order one tomorrow. Thanks for the help :) Joe.

  • Joe, that is a standard turntable meaning there is not any settings in the arm meaning balancing. I think you just need a standard cartridge and you should be able to use it. That is if the table is actually going around, etc...Good luck,

    Rob/Boston

  • I feel your pain man. Like the friend below said, the p mount cartridge is one of the easiest to find. I checked ebay and the price vary from 7 to 30 dollars

  • @ClashOfPopCult Cheers mate! Gunna have a good look for one. Joe.

  • Glad to help. Keep the punk rock spinning!

  • @greeno22 Thank you, im gunna see what i can buy. Would any P Mount cartridge work?

  • greeno22 is perfectly right, get yourself a new P-mount cartridge and don't try to play any LP's with the one you have now.it just ain't worth it!

  • @dimebagdave77 Yeah im not gunna, i was so gutted to realise it had broken, i have about 4 or 5 new records that i havent properly listened to. Cheers. Joe.

  • @Joespencer92 it happens man,i've been there.what i do now is keep at least one extra cart already set up and ready to go in case such a problem arises.when you get your new cart, you won't believe the difference it makes in sound quality, just like a set of brand new tires,a totally different feel! PEACE.

  • @dimebagdave77 Yeah it just sucks its happened now as i need money for other things, totally sucks tbh. Ive looked on eBay and it would be cheaper for me to get one from the US, would a cartridge still work on my turntable here in the UK if i got one from America? Cheers

  • @Joespencer92 i'm not completely positive, but i think that all P-mount carts hook up the same way and i think you would have no trouble ordering one from here.if you have trouble, let me know and i'll find one for you myself,no problem.LATER.

  • BTW. Your turntable does not have a headshell. The P Mount cart just slides in to the end of the tone arm. No set up involved. No balancing the arm or anything. Just plug and play. You can find P Mounts on the internet.

  • Hey. Looks like your turntable is a P mount. Which is they easiest kind to change cartridges on. You can either buy a new stylus and pop it on the P mount cartridge or buy a complete new cartridge. The cart is easy to change. Just unscrew the screw that holds it in place and pull the cart towards you. It will slide out. Push the new cart back in place and put the screw back in. Just make sure you get a P Mount cartridge because a standard 1/2 cartridge will not mount on your tone arm.

  • @greeno22 Thank you very much, youve been a great help. Cheers. Joe.
