X Japan, the band which hide was in, along with equally talented guitarist Pata, before they split and hide did his solo career, have reformed and are playing I believe in the U.S. , and of course Japan, Asia,
They have hide's guitar on stage during their concerts, and sometimes play Video background of hide playing, synched to the concert.
I just love the dedication which this short clip shows, I hate to think hide is dead, that is why I wanted some footage online.

Glad some minds are being blown ! hide, (Hid - day), is the guitarist with red hair, Pata the other. X Japan, is the band. They're a 90's band who just reformed this year,they have his hide's Guitar, and film of him as a backdrop when they play live.
Do some searches, everything hide, and X Japan do is radically awesome ...
Performed only once live I believe, because of the complex nature of the piece, and its length. I love the relationship hide, and Pata have when playing together, plus X Japan as a whole are unique.

ART OF LIFEのギターメロディーはXの中でも格別だと思う。
Xの容姿（ルックス）が苦手な人は多いと思うけど、このメロディー聴いたら普通のアーティストとは違うと認識するだろうね。
