I remember waking up at 6:30 to watch SportsCenter and remember seeing Nick Adenhart had died. I thought it was a hoax from some "unknown source" but I quickly googled his name and it turns out he was dead. I'm a Yanks fan and I remembered Cory Lidle, but this one affected me just as greatly.

i wont ever understand why these things happen. my school did a drunk driving simulatation of what could happen and a video was made to show what can happen. At the end it showed a nick adenhart picture as a result of what can ahppen. you will forever be missed-dodger fan.

Hey, if the Angels win these next two games, they can do it. Look at the '04 Yanks: they beat up Boston 19-8, they were 1 win away from the World Series, but New York choked the ALCS to Boston. I hope LAA can repeat what Boston did in '04, and we can hope the Halos can win one for #34. If LAA reaches the World Series, it will be an emotional one with the Halos playing for Nick Adenhart and Philly playing in honor of Harry Kalas. I have a good feeling the Angels will pull this one out.
