  • had a chance to talk with him last year about a build i was doing my self .... man what a great guy and veary helpfull...RIP Ed

  • Ed is the only guy in the whole guitar racket(business) that tells the truth and is not afraid to ruffle the feathers of Gibson and Fender who deserve to be called out on what they have become peddlers of overpriced crap to silly yuppy wannabees who probably deserved to be scammed

  • @stratluvr so true!!!!

  • I want an LSR, a baker, and a Quicksilver. Then, my life will be complete.

  • 3:15 worst camera work ever.

  • Comment removed

  • ed is the best and tells it like it is.

the next axe i buy, will be from ed.

his work and knowledge is to be trusted.

he knows his stuff, inwards and outwards.

    thank you ed!

  • I wonder if him and Billy Gibbons argue over Gibson.

  • I highly respect this guy, he's very knowledgeable, and rightfully so. He builds beautiful guitars at reasonable price for great customs, unfortunately if you don't have the money it's hard to find cheaper stuff as good as this.

  • @FenrirLupus He likes that you get more value for your money with Fender (as long as you don't get a Custom Shop model). I mean, any monkey can put a Strat together from parts and come out $500-$600 ahead of retail price. He doesn't like ANY corporate guitars and I agree.

    I hate corporations. Period.

  • I knew ED from the East Coast Music Mall in CT> Him, and Barry Lipman, Rick, etc. Ed was always a very helpful(Highly knowledgable) Guy. He turned me on to the Paul Reed Smith Guitar, and the One I bought was a custom 24 w/pearl Birds that Paul actually named the color aftyer him> ROMAN Turquoise!! I went to his 3M Experimental Environment friendly Styro House up in Danbury CT.back in 96.The Man truly is living the dream that any one of us aspired to do.Great Guy ED!!!

  • This broad was probably a fucking hot piece of ass in her day

  • eds the man

  • Ed knows his SH*T!!!!

  • Yeah, I understand.

    Thank You!

  • You're in the guitar industry?

What can you tell of Bakers guitars?

    Thanks!

  • I had a guitar built custom by Ed, more then 10 years ago now, it was the coolest experience ever... its a keeper. In fact sold off all my other guitars, gibsons included once you have what you want made just for you, everything else feels cheap, even les paul customs.

  • Billy is not an endorser....

besides,he's got 13 yatchs, many expensive cars....why would he play shitty guitars?he may play the best money can buy...right?

try playing both a modern Fender guitar,or Gibson,or anything(except Schecter or Bc Rich maybe) and then one of Ed's---

Epiphones and Squiers should not even be considered in the comparison

  • Well, maybe because they cost just a fraction of a Fender Custom Shop guitar.

And he gives you a lot of options, and...he even has original designs from top to bottom...not like the "fender style" headstock...it wasn't Leo Fender's invention,it was in the Merle Travis Special

  • Billy Gibbons is the shit!!! One of Texas' finest!!!

  • The best guitars in ed's shop are usa jacksons

  • ...but custon shop guitars are even better though...but more expensive of course :D

  • Been admiring fine guitars on his site since there was a starry background and hammer Californians to buy (a purple one and a aztec gold one), I think I bought an amp that year instead or maybe the guitars didn't make it to my Christmas funding. Days worth of interesting educational reading, and now the best guitar ever the story book glow bug moon guitar, in a proper home. Kids make great audiences and I am happy to still want something I can't afford. Peace.

  • Happy Hanukkah Ed.

  • Las Vegas Today...?

  • oh and not to mention he desighned john entwistles spider and buzzard bass

  • How odd...I can't seem to find any other editions of "Las Vegas Today" anywhere, Miss Stephanie Stone. Was this the beginning and end of your video hosting career? (LOL)

  • good idea, odin!

keep it short and to the point! LOL!

  • and i'm one of them

  • Red Oman lives.

  • Wow @ all the Steinbergers in that shop =O

  • I don't think he gets anything from Korea, on his site he has a rant about why you shouldn't buy guitars made in Asia.

  • ManTurds,I think that is what you are full of.I watched your video:it proves you can make a video, but that is it.Ed makes great guitars,I own finished models-ones with finished wood too--they play, look and sound great.Who did you get to screw up that nice guitar.Wouldn't it have been cheaper to destroy some Chinese crap?

People, Ed makes and sells great stuff.Look at the Turds video,he proves nothing.Again, who puts electronics and strings on a guitar before the finish?I guess a Turd does.

  • What is wrong with this chick? This is so funny it could be fake.

  • i went there and it was pretty cool.

  • I'm a lefty and have always had trouble finding good guitars. I had a Quicksilver w/spalted maple and quilt built by Ed. It's the best I've owned in my 40+ years of playing. I currently own 6 PRS a Brian Moore and some others but nothing with the looks, action and tone of this Quicksilver. The feel is addictive.
