Yes - I checked out the key for the song via youtube prior to playing it. Therefore my playing this song in C# was purely a matter of choice. You better know I can do the same song in A, B, C, D, E, F or G if I choose. I grew up having to do this in the holiness church where people just start singing from their pews. Furthermore, choir singers don't always sing in the key the song was composed in, therefore, I learned to play in all keys.

It's a tremolo switch which changes the speed of the upper and lower rotors in the Leslie Speaker cabinet. It is for Hammond sound effects.
