Congrats on your newborn son! I've carried a Colt 380 since 1983 ( Govt 1st- Mustang later). I gave my Late Dad a Colt Mustang that was made the 1st week of production- he always carried it especially when travelling/ wintering in FL. I've given 6 different Mustangs to friends/girlfriends over the years. I have 4 Mustangs and one Mustanf plus II. I hope to get another 380 Govt soon. Colt mustang 380- I never leave home without it! I might start doing the same w/ my Glock 26 : ).

Ok, a .50 BMG on an AR lower... how is that even possible?  I suppose it acts like a break-open action rifle using the takedown pivot pin? And it's workable? I guess those aluminum receivers are stronger than I thought :)

Actually, it's a single shot bolt action. All that's needed is the .50 upper which comes with an enhanced firing mechanism (hammer, springs .etc.)

one thing that amazed me of limalife -in a good way- is that when she released the slide levers on the colts, she actually held the slides so that they wouldn't slam forth and wake the baby.she seems to be doing this in a natural way, unintentionally.

First of all you have a very fine looking son and congradulations to you and your husband. Thank you for the work that you have done on youtube. You need to make a series of hard copy DVD's to use for instructing other women and family members as it would be VERY helpfull.

The colts are fine machines. I used to be a distributor back years ago and those were very hard to get on a good day. The 380 stacked Barrettas and Brownings are another good little guy gub choice.

I usually do my target practice at around 10 yards which is 30 feet. I do fast defensive style shooting at average defensive distances (10 yards or less). Sometimes I'll take it out to 15, 20 yards or more but not often.

It resembled the rifles that you used to see in old western movies. Then at age nine, he bought me a single shot bolt action .22 for my birthday. I still have both.
