Gotta say, we tried to CC 2 of the adds, for someone said the boss would be harder when all adds are down (is this true?), and it just sucked. Pure chaos. Gues we´ll kill them all 1st next time. ^^

ok. first of all. you CC some then kill them in an order you choose. not killing the adds only makes it harder because the CC other it's a healer or dps will increase the chance of wiping. So. ya kill adds then Hex it's very simple.

Everyone is right, this boss is a pain in the rear. But, after a few attempts, you'll get him. Easiest way to do this is keep a mage, they can Spell Steal the wings on Pally, which helps. Also keep some Shadow Protection potions, pop those early in the fight to help the healers.

This sucker mopped the floor with us last night. The only time we were close to downing him he Drained a priest, Mind Controlled a Druid, the druid Cycloned me (I was Main Tank) and Hex Lord dropped aggro and proceeded to destroy the healers. It sucket. Very hard boss (my first time there)

My guild's also had trouble with him for about a fortnight too, he was like 3% hp in a priest phase when he feared me while tanking (I don't think it was a MC cause I didn't get a dispel and used will of the forsaken ASAP) but the bastard took out 2 healers even after intervene and I couldn't take him back in time zzzzzz

Not really, if you know what to do here, this fight is extremly easy. Handle the adds good, have competent people, have good healers and the fight is won.

I was the Shadow Priest on this fight, and he MCed me, then i broke shakle, starting attacking the raid and it went all to hell. But I did Zul'jin for the first time and killed him. I think he is a bit harder then Zul'jin

We have done this fight without any shadow resist gear on but its not fun for the healers.

Only shadow resist you really need imo is a priest buff.

Don't really need any SR besides.

Just a tip to any warlock

If you have ember storm it makes this so easy it procs every spirit bolt.

I'm not sure what the warlock talents look like, but I believe that Emberstorm decreases the cast time of incinerate and increases fire dmg done by 10% at max rank. The talent you're looking for is I believe Nether Protection.

my guild says we should all have 200+ unbuffed shadow ress :/, so why can you do it with only 100 like for how much do those bolts hit then?

i only do it in 100 cause i still have to tank him, worry about him critting me, crushes, you know the works. i would would say anywhere from 180-250 is good enough, but you dont need any sr gear for the fight, it just makes it about a million times easier

Just tanked him recently for the first time on my Pally. The only resist we had was from Priest's shadow resist buff.
