About the dating point, it's not that northies are seen as unattractive, they just have an unfortunate stereotype of being racist and arrogant, tht's why you only see south indian guys with white/latino girls more than north indian guys and only asian guys with north indian girls(asian guys are generally at the bottom of the dating ladder too)
