Why dont you try getting the second quest ending, and the third quest ending, and then you can say this game was easy!!! Hehehehehe!! Almost nobody knows that capcom made it so you could play a second and a third quest!!!! Try it out and let me know what you think buddy, maybe you can get those endings up here in youtube, since I dont think anyone else has!!!
this is when nintendo was the shit I loved the games that came out in the 90's for nintendo..... this looks like it was made by the same ppl who made Low-G Man
First mini boss is so easy. There's a way to do it without getting hit at all. Jump over him when he swings his hammer and air kick him in the back, it will bounce him back, and just keep jumping over him and kicking him in the back. 13 kicks should do the trick.
Hey, I've seen that people have hacked this game... and I also see that people on here are familiar with the original Taxan G.I. Joe game.
Has anyone tried hacking this game to include some stuff from the original Taxan game? Like the gernade throwing... or even some of the characters? I would have loved to have had Rock 'n' Roll and Captain Grid-Iron in this game.
The password system was a real bitch in this game. At 1:34, see all of those Tic-Tac-Toe boards in the middle of the screen? That's the password system. The password involved putting a digit in one of the nine spaces IN ALL FOURTEEN TIC-TAC-TOE BOARDS! An example of this is at 3:02. Writing all of this down REALLY sucks ass!
it was actually made by Kid, the same developer that did the first G. I. Joe and Kickmaster for the NES. Capcom just picked up publishing rights since I believe Taxan had closed its publishing branch by 1991.
I just ordered this game with its full box, dust sleeve, and instruction booklet for 40 bucks off ebay in order to add it to my original NES collection. I remember playin it as a kid, but I'm 31 now. I was visiting a used game store in my town the other day, and this is how ya know when your gettin old. The 18 y/o kid who was workin there said he's never played an original NES console!!! Further more...he's never touched a Super NES either! Dam, wheres all my youth escaped to?
Yeah dude, I feel ya, if they were born in 1990 or after, they grew up on N64. This game was so ahead of it's time. Ur better off just craigslisting or finding it online, good buy tho
Thanks man. Did ya ever play this game? So many NES titles sucked, but this is one that actually had good quality for its 50 price tag. Man, I recall getting so upset when asking my folks to help me out with a little cash after doing chores around the house just to buy a game that I thought would be awesome, but turned out it sucked big time. It was like, I translated all my hard work from chores into a piece o crap game, but not this one. Ya can't go wrong for an old school game.
Probably the best official licensed GI Joe game ever made. Unfortunately the EA game is going to be based on the upcoming GI Joe movie, which won't be 100% true to the original series. :( Give me a GI Joe game based on the comic book using the Mercenaries 2 tech, and I'd buy that in a heartbeat!
I remember this game xD the passwords where soooo mother fucking long!
