@awesomechildisKool Episode 7: Home is Where The Heart Stops. The one where Castle and Beckett investigate some home invasion robberies. I thought the jewel thief was especially cool. :)
Nope...it was just to tell the characters apart. You can't see it in the lighting, but there was white tape on the sides of the masks that covered the brand name. The upper arm band on the girl was likely just something wardrobe threw on 'cause they liked the way it looked.
The industry is not concerned with accuracy...just what looks good on camera.
Man....all the work I went through in a rush when I sold that gear for this shoot for 40 seconds on screen! Ah well...at least the lames didn't look bad. They wanted to buy actual foil lames, but the colors they wanted were not available. They ended up fabricating them for the shoot....they were only used to deliniate the characters anyway.
Actually....now that I think about it, the blue lame may have been a real one...the yellow was definitely made by wardrobe, however...
It does look a little ostentatious, doesn't it? Were they trying to cover a patch on the girl's jacket, or was that an embellishment from the wardrobe or prop department?
what episode is this from?
