  • Much better than the real recipe.

  • This is NOT Caldo Verde !!!

There are many videos at YouTube showing the right and original recipe.

  • Ummm youre not suppose to fry the onions or the Linguica...everything should just be boiled. lol

  • Hey, hey, hey! I made your soup and ate three bowls. Thanks for sharing. You saved me plane fare to Lisbon.

  • This too american for me too its nothing close to the real recipe :S

  • lol...too american for me...It's pronounced "lin-gui-sa" (linguica), and by the way.. should have used chourco instead....I have the recipe for anyone who wants it. This is a little to american for my taste.. but I guess for people who don't know how to make it , they wont know the difference.

  • i dont like this recipe, but if your just learning it, then you can probably think for yourself and spice it up with other stuff... they didn't say liguica right....

  • In Portugal we dont do caldo verde like that.

If you want to do it correctly i´ll send to you the genuine recipe. Palavra de uma portuguesa!

  • @belitacotrim oi ., eu queri muito a verdadeira receita, voce manda para mim??

    obrigada!!

  • @belitacotrim hi can you send me the recipe in english please?

  • NOT GENUINE!

  • the only problem i have is that he didn't say linguica right

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • well done. I am Portuguese. We all make caldo verde different. You did a great job. people who complain have issues

  • this is not Caldo Verde...

    It's something else.

    I guarantee. Portuguese word...

  • this is a great dish! but the recipe in this vid is not the best way to make it... firstly, instead of using water, one can use a good chicken stock... secondly, you saute the sausage in the olive oil then take them out and then saute the onions and garlic in the olive oil and sausage drippings..
