The definition of Grimoire I found online was a manual of black magic for invoking spirits and demons. Can anyone put into perspective why one would care to invoke demons? I'm new to this and now concerned its mere luciferianism.

Actually the definition you found is rather slanted. A Grimoire is a book of magical ideas and techniques -any magical ideas and techniques. The term is usually associated with Ceremonial Magic but can be used in many contexts. It is roughly the same idea as a Book fo Shadows or a Magical Diary.

Thank you for putting this into perspective for me. I'm quite new to these ideas and have a great interest in Wicca though am concerned &cautious about certain things. I was explained in Wicca, there is no belief in evil besides that of human actions. Is this true to you? Do you believe there are demons or evil spirits? Also, In Wicca is there practice of sacrifice? Risk of possession? I hope these ?s aren't offensive. I just care for beliefs of Wiccans themselves directly for my understanding

though new to the study of wicca i will tell you as i understand. there is good and bad in everything, gods, spirits, and people. the circle is a tool used to keep out negative beings that would disrupt a working of positive force. magic is what we make it nothing more as it is part of everything and everyone. if you meen like animal sacrifice? then no that belongs to the god of abraham and none of ours. hope i helped a little. blessed be )0(

demonology is regardes by most as nothing short of insane due to dangers it involves. but i know someone who specialises in deomonlogy and belives it to be good, he says it brings lots of power but if you make the devil trap wrong or say an incantation wrong then nasty stuff can happen

i love these videos, but I miss the subtitles. With all of the unfamiliar names and terms, its harder to keep up, whereas if I don't know it and you have subtitles, i can at least recognize things by how they're spelled.

It is most unfortunate that I was not able to enjoy this episode of the Interactive Grimoire due to it's lesser quality in audio and video. What information I grasped within it however, was worth my time. Thank you. :-)
