Im a flames fan, but, Rypien and the Sedins ARE always fun to watch. Its to bad that nobody could help Rypien. He had so much life left in him. He is always up for a challenge. He has inspired me to set my mind to things and never give up. He has deffinately change me and who i am.

Although I am English, I have family from Vancouver and although I was only ever lucky enough to see Ripper play once, the legacy he has left on Hockey fans throughout, Canada, The NHL and The World will never be forgotten.

It was through the tragedy of this Summer that my cousin back in BC battled through his depression to win himself a place at Minnesota on the Hockey team, Rick, even in death has helped give someone else life, a true heart of a Canuck, I am truly proud to have seem him play!

NYR fan here. This brought me to tears last night as a mental health nurse it is so sad that this is happening tp our guys in the NHL (and all over the world) I hope the NHL continues to step up and make people more aware of MH issues. Let's make this a season to remember for the right reasons now! And NEVER forget those we have lost not only for teams but our beloved sport! Wishes with their family and friends!
