Simply put, if god created us, knowing everything that we would do, then what we perceive as free will is actually a pre-ordained destiny, in which we do not actually have a choice. If we do have a choice, and can act independently of god's original intent or knowledge, then he is not omniscient.

Most of what you had is fairly sound. I am curous about your inference of the "humanist" god (creator, we shall say). From my understanding of natural selection, DNA and life and so forth came about almost by accident. Given the environment, whatever worked stayed, and whatever was better took over.
