  • Awesome, but the riff under the solo is just the verse riff repeated over and over.

  • Very good lesson thanks i learned songs from ur lessons.

  • a tout le monde(set me free) please

  • Blitzkrieg please...

  • what amp settings do ya got on there?

  • The funny thing is, I didn't really learn from you, I just use these songs as practice. But good job with the teachiing. Metallica songs are fun and easy to play. lml

  • Thanx heaps mate, u are the only one i bother with, u do all the good songs, it would be awesome if u did some stuff from exodus exA and B and some new annihalator would would be awesome too, thanx again- MIK Australia.

  • @cliffburton1997 i cant read music :) i sound alot of songs out or look at vids/tabs

  • on the first riff, is it alternate picking? it's sounds better, in my opinion.

  • @radeonwowbest It can be. But to me down sounds better

  • That song is not that hard to play on the guitar

  • at less someone knows how to give simple guitar lessons

  • to me, this song is really fun to play. It's in a tie for my favorite song.

  • Long live Mustaine's riff for this song \ \m/ /

  • nice, brah

  • I dont want to hate or be cocky, i just want to give a positiv criticism: work a little bit on your timing and groove. its not that steady. no big deal! :)

  • hey just reccomending to get the most full sound you can get you should bar your first finger on the third fret it sounds better this way

  • Before i forget-slipknot

  • The solo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanx for the lesson man!

  • the more i look at your hand the less it starts to look like a hand and starts to look like a spider

  • thanks so much! keep up the drinking!

  • What does x mean?

  • @TheRealFake19 x means dampening the strings

  • it's six o' clock

  • thumbs up so everyone can see this message

use the pinky always you can, dont try to use your ring finger when its easier to use your pinky..it will increase your pinky strenght and that will be usefull for chords end other music etc....

  • you are fucking great man you are a great musician great guitar player and great teacher

  • hey dude.. do you know what to play during the soli?

  • i bet his neighbours hate him .... 6:00 a.m. Looks like he is sick of porn movies xDD

  • Buckethead uses his pinky, and his music is amazing... so people that think it's a stupid idea, you simply have never played the guitar like a real man.

  • @Fuckeeeerrrr use ur pinky

  • 6 a.m man ? xDD

  • @Fuckeeeerrrr

its easy man, just use your pinky, you'll get used to it quick like me

  • Gotta agree with AzealIVI. How can you play scales without the pinky finger? or alot of the basic chords? Barring the third finger or something? You have to use your pinky or you'll never get very good.

  • using your pinky does have alot of benefits. i've been playing sinces december and someone told me to not use my pinky. but it is impossible in alot of songs. it saves stress on your ring finger. if someone uses or doesn't use there pinky it doesn't matter. just using your pinky makes playing a little easier

  • using the pinky is really relaxing

i always use my pinky for chords

  • I kills me to read comment like wow, youre using your pinky! Thats like saying, wow, youre using both your eyes to see! I remember my first guitar teacher telling me from day one, develop your pinky strength and use it; the benefits are well worth the effort. That was over 25 years ago and something I tell my students today. Being able to stretch over many fret-board steps is only one benefit. It affects everything from chord shapes to playing complex scales. Endless possibilities.

  • thanks man youre are cool

  • thx man

  • Is this songs riffs all downpicking?

  • All the riffs are downpicked, yes.

  • What is downpicking? (:

  • Downpicking is simply striking the string (Or strings), in a downward motion. Some people alternate pick, which is just moving the pick in an up-down-up-down motion, and is usually done to increase speed and reduce the strain on the wrist.

Metallica is known for downpicking, even in fast riffs, to get a more robust sound (Jump in the Fire, Master of Puppets, etc). Other songs are alternate picked (Metal Militia, Damage Inc, Dyers Eve, etc).

I hope that answers your question!

  • Ok now I know, thank you.
