  • Best repair video ever, first one I watched here on youtube, great work Mr. Mguyver.

Now you can worry about the motor coupler, spin gear, clutch lining, agitator dogs, neutral drain assembly, motor start switch, wearing out and/or breaking next! ^_^

  • Replace that pump.

  • Thanks crsmal, appreciate the time you spent on showing us how to fix the washer. Thank you!

  • Ignore the negativity, they're Lazy Morons.

You do a great job ! Your wife is lucky .

  • Well, aren't you just little mister fucking expert on everything!

!st(sp?)- do you think I give a shit what YOU think about the song I used?

2nd- I knew I was replacing the pump soon- this was just a fix until the new one came in the mail. Guess What? The new one has a SEALED housing!

3rd- I don't know what kind of squirrel hands you have, but trying to disconnect and reconnect all that with the cabinet on would have been the hard way.

PS- I LOVED your video, I made it my favorite!

  • dude- it's a $300 washing machine, not a ferrari.

by the time I took a day off waiting for a repairman, then paid him whatever visit, diagnose and change the pump, I'd have been better off buying new- which is what i would have done if my fix didn't work.

  • "Nice try whirlpool, what else do you have that breaks after warranty?"

Hehehe.. yeah, that's the way it goes.

Good job of fixing the washing machine!

  • Thanks for posting, very helpfull.

  • I didn't have one and there was laundry to be done.......then you continue on to say "let it set overnight"....I would have bought one and been washing again in a couple hours....ass

  • they don't sell them at the corner store...dick

  • exactly.

I'm going through this same situation.

Except mine is leaking from the shaft area, internally so the epoxy fix won't work for my situation.

    Much thanks for this video!

  • The drive coupling.
