So i look through his shop and its been under cover my whole life lol. But to do the swap is actually not to bad. Except if you dont have the car already, cause then stuff starts adding up quickly. Go on LS1tech and you will find out evvvvvveeeerrrryyythhhingg you ever wanted to know about camaros.

I think the car would look better without those 15" wheels and tire combo... i have a 72 nova with an i believe a 80's 350. i have been considering swapping my 350 carbureted with a mild cam to a fuel injected lt1 motor with a mild cam also and eventually adding a super charger but in the meantime i dont want to lose any power. any idea which motor has more power?

Stock for stock I think you can get the old carb motors with a lowest HP rating of around 290, where as the LT1's max rated power was around 285. I think an LT1 would breathe better (stock for stock) than an old carb 350. If you just wanna dump a crate motor in it though, get a LS motor man.

Your incorrect. You forgot the biggest asset the LT4 had: LT4 Heads, which were 195cc (2.00/1.55 I/E valves) vs. 170cc (1.94/1.50 I/E valves) for the standard LT1. The LT4 block was upgraded as well with shallow valve pockets on the pistons, 10.8:1 compression vs. 10.4:1 for LT1, powdered metal rods, and a modified LT1 crank. Also Cloyes timing chain, 28lb. injectors, Crane Gold 1.6 rockers, Teflon crank seal, solid cam sprocket, and most of all, about 50 more rear-wheel horsepower!

'96 LT4 C4 Coupe put down 303whp bone-stock with 42k miles, compared to my old '92 LT1 Coupe that put down 258whp. That's a 45whp difference. Nothing out of the ordinary for a heads/cam/intake upgrade, that is if you are educated on this stuff. :-)

Well you really don't wan't to cam any car without supporting bolt-ons, though some people do it.

The LE2 is a great kit. I've talked to Lloyd several times over the years and ran his LE1.1kit 4 years ago with supporting mods (58mm TB, LT headers, ect ect.) and put down just over 371rwhp with it and passed California emissions. Lloyd is definitely a good choice!

I don't know anything about this car, but towards the end of the video you see the car purge nitrous...if he has nitrous and a cam than he most likely has all of the other supporting boltons(headers, intake, a tune, etc. etc.)
