Verses like this make me wonder...sons of god? perhaps god is the leader of another race of beings. We came to call god...or lord.

The Nephilim? ive reaserched this and it seems these are thought to be the offspring between mans woman and gods sons. Suposedly they where giants. the anunaki that the samarians speak of in there texts are depicted as tall men with wings (origin of angels maybe?)

It makes more sense if you treat them both as historicle documents recording the same history. First reaserch the samarian texts. After doing this alot of the Genesis chapter makes more sense if you see through alot of the metaphores used.

EVERYONE needs to get a bible (Online) and study the Genesis book. If you study this and also reasearch about Babylonian / Samarian texts and stone tablets you will begin to realise things.

Genesis is a copy from the original samarian texts which are 6,000 years old. They are even the first in history to document the story of noath and the flood. In genesis the people it talks about are babylonian as it says.

No- he potentially loves everyone if we REPENT of sins and are thus regenerated and born again in Him- otherwise- the wrath of God will be the portion of all degenerates who willfully remain as such- Read Romans 1:18-32 - God is not sentimental nor a respecter of persons- it is the same for us all- Repent and live- or perish then. That is what is true about the God of this bible who is the very Word- another title for the Lord Himself- so please no fake sentimentality-we are bought with a price!

The God of Abraham, Jacob and Israel- Jesus Christ- the God of the bible- Jesus is the Second Person of the Trinity- Son of God and Son of Man- Messiah King of the world- Creator- the Living Word...

There are just so many different people that all believe in so many different omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient beings that I struggle to know which one is being discussed.

Then, I think, does it matter? If there's a God, would he want people to think of him in this really specific way? Would He want people to try kill or "convert" each other just cause they don't see him a certain way.

We need to love EACH OTHER. Just believe THAT. You don't need santa.

Hi McHenrinson-Thanks for you comments- i have enjoy discussion as long as that is what it is- You can believe whatever you want-God made us sentient beings with volition to choose to know Him personally through Jesus finished redemptive work on the Cross which was the Justice payment required if we accept Him. Jesus is God the Son - Second Person of the Godhead and the Son of God both. Yes-God took on flesh to save the innocent from death and the hell it is without God as we are born separated-

I am answering your reply about identify- We are all created in the image logos of God but fallen with sin and death- God has a very self-determined and distinct identity just as you choose to have- He chooses to remain Holy- even though some of His creatures choose to live for self and thus become unholy following cunning ways to self-gain or avoid loss- nothing wrong with pursuit of these but without the indwelling Spirit of truth- by default we become warlike demonic trolls instead by the end

PS- It is impossible and the evidense proves this for man to truly love others or the creation in our present fallen state left to our own devices- all the other belief systems including your religion humanism is self-righteous and doomed to fail under the law-If God judges any of us under His standards it will be the 10 commandments- a sentence of conviction and hell-but Jesus came to pay for those wise enough to understand that even our goodness and so-called love is predatory and usury-Repent

Hi Northern- I was raised Lutheran and later when i was saved and baptized at 18 yrs. old was Pentecostal. I am apostolic now- meaning I belong and am in active Ministry with a household of faith eldership. I am not sure this answers you- i have been a Christian now for over 35 yrs- the Lord leads me more directly all th time as I have learned to trust and follow His leading in terms of my spiritual growth-I love the King James bible because it is so poetic and meaningful-but i also like the amp
