I've never liked the idea of abortion as birth control, and have often thought it should be regulated, but I do believe it should be accessible. That said, it never ceases to amaze me the hypocrisy of many pro-abortionists when it comes to mens reproductive rights. Any man who speaks up about men's reproductive rights gets told "you did the act, take responsibility", but heaven forbid someone tell that to a woman. The life of a 12 year old child after being raped is bad enough if she DOES get a chance to be a regular teen. It shows me that there is a higher percentage of black children that end up in foster care not how many black children actually get adopted. And like I said before, more people should be going for adoption and we should be promoting it more. However, the process is full of red tape and costs thousands of dollars. It is ridiculous. We should be cutting both way down so more people would have the ability to adopt.

I've never liked the idea of abortion as birth control, and have often thought it should be regulated, but I do believe it should be accessible. That said, it never ceases to amaze me the hypocrisy of many pro-abortionists when it comes to mens reproductive rights. I get your point but those were bad actors. It's messed up that a baby is considered merely a 'punishment', but it is still true. The life of a 12 year old child after being raped is bad enough if she DOES get a chance to be a regular teen. I know a couple that tried for an adoption and was turned down because of their income of $30,000

I found that the percentage of Black babies are adopted a lot more than white babies. Showing Race has little bearing. 45% of black babies were adopted while 38% of white babies were adopted in 1999 while 42% of black babies weren't adopted and 32% of white babies weren't adopted.

And like I said before, more people should be going for adoption and we should be promoting it more. However, the process is full of red tape and costs thousands of dollars. It is ridiculous. We should be cutting both way down so more people would have the ability to adopt.

If one really thinks about the abortion argument logically, they will not be asking if abortion is taking a life but rather, is taking a life wrong. And if taking a life is wrong, why stop at pregnancy? Why not kill a newborn, a child, a teenager, and adult?
At least China understands: life begins at conception, abortion is ending a life, but it doesn't matter.
Let's be honest. Of course, the question arises: why punish people who kill their kids when things get tough?

@cheshirelizzy This is an excellent point and so true. Just be honest. We can't handle when things get too difficult and so killing an unborn child is at least one less responsibility to worry about. Also, I think really the issue has more to do with rape and incest than anything. That is where the real argument lies. But should mothers kill a boy that begins to remind them of the abusive husband that they divorced or seperated from because it reminds them of the abuse?

I do not see it as the adult being punished with a baby... I see it as the baby is punished with terrible parents and an abusive situation... Death as a fetus is preferable to years of abuse, beatings and the viscious cycle it encourages! One that is beating as a child will often end up beating his own child. If all the pro-lifers stopped focussing on aborted babies and instead focused on children in foster system, abusive situations... life would be much better for everyone!

You have birth control, You have condoms learn how to use them right and there are ,morning pills and sex toys. IMO that should be buy-able for 15 year olds but Americans not comfortable with sexuality and that's one reason why "mistakes" happen. Parents hardly ever talk to their kids about sexuality.
