  • Jimi song? Dude, that's Muddy Waters.  ....and if you didn't know, then you've got to check out the original; it kicks ass! Love Jimi, but got to hear Muddy.

  • @DroopaLoop100 Ditto. Muddy. Waters. Was. The. Man. ;) Love Eric and Jeff Beck as I do, I often think that Jimi had a deeper internal grasp and understanding of Muddy, John Lee Hooker and Charlie Patton than came across in the other guys at that time in England. Some would make a case for Peter Green, of course. I always felt like Eric played a little too on top of the beat, but still adore his playing. Something I've been working on a lot lately (playing more on the backside of the beat)
