This song which we have been hearing since the time... may be... many of us were born is in a raagam that is liked by 90% of us.... and the soul that M.S. amma gives to the songs she sings is unmatchable.... The effort that the couple have put in is commentable... But !!!!

I don't particularly see anything wrong with comments like 'I did not like it'. That is not a criticism and at the very least, the singers should not interpret it as a criticism. If MSS's rendition is what pleases someone, they are most welcome to tune to that channel... To ks's comment: I think this is the carnatic version of Hamir Kalyani, yes, in some versions you hear a bit of saranga (try listening to Swati Tirunaal's composition in this raagam...

I don't understand why so many people hurry to criticise like this fashion. Afterall, everyone should love to hear, enjoy good music and that is all. Perfections has to be attained stage by stage for all in this world.

Why would they distort the song by singing it in Hamir Kalyani. It is such a soulful song song in Yamuna Kalyani.

I like Sriram and Anuradha combination a lot. Both are great performers , no doubt. However this song "Bhavayami Gopalabalam" is an MS masterpiece. Such songs are best left untouched..Though they have sung well , the mind refuses to accept!!
