How much does it cost to break into the 11s in one of these things? Seems like a lot of work since you have turbo and everything.

@skatepunkzero Thats a question with a lot of possible answers, technically you could run 11's with slicks and a shot of nitrous.

@masssrt I was just wondering, not trying to come off as a sport compact hater but it seems like it cost more and takes more work to make an SRT4 run 11s compare to a 350 powered car. My S10 isn't running 11.9 but its running in the 11.30s with 11.29 as my best time and my S10 just has an NA 350 and I have spent around $3000 on it. I was wondering because a really good friend of mine got an SRT4 from his dad and he wants to build it for now till he can get a Dodge Charger or something.

@skatepunkzero No its cool, there are lots of ways people go. Mine is stock bottom end and built head and every bolt on just about, probably $10,000 in mods. I would say around $5000 or so for a nice 11 second daily driver. For fuel, turbo kit, clutch, tuning device, slicks and small stuff like motor mounts, lca bushings etc. I'll be happy to send you my full list of mods, it's pretty long. Of course not all that is necesssary, but thats what I got, and I mainly do have just power mods.

@masssrt Damn $5000! These things do seem like a lot work! But yeah message me all of your mods, my friends car probably won't make the 11s since he only has about $1500-$2000 to spend in mods. We may just mod it and sell it to try to get a different V8 Mopar like a D100 or something. But send me the mods.

im using a cell so i cant see all comments but do u have hp and tq numbers on 27psi...i just did a full build and im going with 76r and im hoping to hit the 500whp range on 28-30psi with meth....thx
