500D Movie mode High Shutter Speed

Hey there, i did your little hack, brilliant btw! I just a problem with twixtor because I seem to get a lot of warping. I was wondering how you fix that?

YES. Now we cheated the shutter speed and aperture control on the t1i. I just bought Twixtor and this technique should work perfectly when playing with slow motion shots. Thanks dudes.

that was PERFECT.. i was looking to do exactly that.. for exactly that application (to use Twixtor)..

do you know if the T2i and T3i can do it within the software? Thinking of selling my T1i to a friend and upgrading.

Mine only goes to F4.5

It all depends on your lens. it also changes as you zoom in you if your using the 18-55mm and your zoomed out all the way it will go lower.
