You can aslo press the plus and minus in the upper right corner if you're on the map.

the reason there are no guys on the bridge is because what they show here is the tutorial part of the game,for some reason there are no watch personnel then, when you start your first mission they are watching like they should,but like i said the game does have several bugs that need correcting like when you are on time compression and you go to a compartment it doesnt turn the compression off, i just started playing this game so ill find out whats up with that

also the graphics are outstanding, if you dont have a pc to run them then they wont,i found a bad ass gaming rig from some kid on ebay that his parents bought him a alienware laptop so he didnt want that desktop anymore and i jumped on it for 380 dollars, shit the video card in it alone is 400 dollars,ive played sh3 and 4 and this one is very different control wise, another reason why we dont like it,people dont like change, its basic human nature,it does have bugs in it, no doubt about it.

Americans have different uniforms, I don't think those German wear British or American uniforms and it's just dubbed to English, you can probably play it on German too. At least in Silent Hunter III there was German language

the trailer is much better than the game. takes 5 torpedoes for some barges. u have to cross the ocean every 2-3 ships sunk, if you try and speed up the time u end up hitting shallow ground in the middle of the ocean. it takes like 5 minutes to load the start up screen and 5 more to load the game. my machine is well above the requirements and i can play MoA with no lag but this game lags like mad and has NO HARDWARE CURSOR! pathetic gameplay with pathetic physics and pathetic damage modifiers.

Hey Ubisoft, I love your silent hunter games, but i hate silent hunter 5 just because of one thing : sometimes (every 1 and a half hour) the game freezes. Then i discovered that the reason to this was that sometimes my internet drops for a split second. If u could fix that internet protection u (for example just checking that its not pirated at the start) would have got much higher ratings on the game, im sure! Yes, i love silent hunter 3 and i'm hoping for a silent hunter 6 (without that prob.)

you can switch the language version. The German one ( i'm speaking about Silent Hunter III here ) even contains some voice samples from the movie 'Das Boot' (for example when a torpedo hits the target, it's a sample from the film...)
