This Level was driving me mad. Tried everything, hiding behind the Dodgems, behind the building where the 1st wave come from, hiding in the bushes.

Was just about going to give up with the game!!!

I've just done it this way on Veteran on about my 6th try. Pure luck I didn't get killed when carrying the Capt.

Doesn't work at all. Maybe the PC is different, but when I go in there the nades kill me instantly. There's no way to survive the nades explosions. And it doesn't make ANY difference which difficulty level is chosen. Maybe this strategy works with the 360, but it has never worked with the PC version.

wow... completeted on the first try?...you definately got lucky... cause when i tried this over 20 times in a row and each time either 2 gernades got thrown in at the same time, one which landed on the other side of the little shack thing so i had to get up and get it...or i got flashed and couldnt see where i was throwing back a frag to save myself.. maybe im just unlucky

u lucky grrrr, i do ur booth trick n sumtimes i get fucked up by a grenade but when the chopper comes i come out nget pissed on by bullets , i no old old now but i just started veteran on cod4 finished WAW, come sum1 must be doing it too.

I did that 2. I do that every time I play it on a hard level. It is almost impossible to beat other wise. I do have to admit though, that the grenades in the little hiding spot are gay. Even if you are almost right next to the grenande it still sometimes doesn't kill you.

I read a forum along time ago about how to do this on Veteran; it seems going prone behind Cpt.Macmilan is a good Tactic, his invincible in this Part lol, I'm doing it right now. Hopefully he'll keep 'em back and the grenades stop

Eh, i HATE this mission, ive died SO many times, its been almost ah week now, ive got my own lil thing where i sit down at about dark and put music on and some snacks around me and just try n try again..i keep dying though, sigh, i sit in the booth, and half the time i get naded, then i put C4 everywhere then hide in the booth, i get out for the copter, i die, i hide in the bush next to the other sniper, i last til the copter comes down, then i die..die die die die die.anyone have any pointers??

Hmm, I agree with this, I tried it in the other booth but the entrance to that one is facing them so they get their nades in. This doesn't sometimes work though, it appears as if one of these random grenades hits me from afar but I see no explosion =/

i've tried to lay in the booth as it is on the clip. Once i survived. I ran towards captain, thought i took him on my shoulder, I've ran inside the chopper and suddenly there was a sign telling me to go for captain... (i didn't take him). After then i've tried to repeat the sam action but i get killed about 20 times now. Level Hardened. Any tips?

I'm playing it right now on Veteran. So far, it's working. This is my 3rd try and not a single grenade landed inside the ticket booth! lol The rescue helicopter has arrived, so I guess I just have to finish it up.

Okay I finally got it =P, personally u just gotta get lucky. If you see a grenade signal pointing to the TOP-LEFT the chances are very likely that its in the booth your in... GL lol

Kinda makes me angry since atm i've trying this at least 6 or 7 times!!!! Its either that your Tangos hve horrible aim with grenades since they keep landing INSIDE for me!!! They go through the fricken window -.-... The ticket booth is worst i say. I'm gonna keep trying tho

There is a ticket boot you can't get into that is connected to the bumper car area. I went prone and was in between a yellow bumper car and the booth. You can shoot anybody getting near you. There are only 2 places they position themselves to shoot you and you can pick them off easily. I did this on veteran.

i did this on mine to i just found out when playing through the first time something else i noticed the grenades come from mid air on the 360 you can run out and everything and no one will shoot you(only after all enemies are dead and helos are on the way)

Just did this after what seemed 3 hours of trying. ive found that one "solution" or glitch isnt always the best way as i used a combination of camping behind the bumper cars and waiting til the 3 helis come in, fight up 2 this point and u will get a checkpoint at about 5000metres. Once you get this go 2 the ticket booth in this video and lie in the corner but facing forwards so u can chuck the grenades out. This way you dont have 2 wait like 5 minutes for big bird only 2 die instantly.

Very nice vid to prob one of the semi frustrating missions for those of you having trouble with this dont even attempt the mile high club mission on vet lol and for those who want to actually shoot ppl camping behind the bumper car area is another nice spot you gotta watch the 3 entrances (both stair areas and the left grassy side) also watch for ppl on top of the ferris wheel when its time to go slowly push towards macmillian pick him up and RUN FOREST RUN to the heli worked for me anyways.

I've been stuck at this place for a long time now.. Tried 100+ times, always got killed, and I'm only playing it in Veteran-1 :-).

Once I survived until the helicopter arrived, but I decided to kill some more bad guys before leaving.. Then he said "Pay attention!", and the helicopter flew away. I was so sad :'(

cheers bruv for this.. i got soo pissed off at it i gave up then came back to it at ur angle, took a me a few attempts but when the chopper came i waited till he said i have 30 secs to get to the chopper. i then ran round the back of the shed, flashed killed any one near me then picked up macmillon, when u have him and run to the heli they dont bother shooting u until ur just about to board.. easy peasy! thanks agian

You guys are idiots, it's far from impossible on veteran proning beside the ferris wheel, the secret is not to let anyone get on your right side, set up the claymores to block that side off completely and then LEARN TO SHOOT. It's not that hard to hold them off if you hit your shots. I usually kill 10 for 10 shots on veteran. Just grab the dragunov by the car before you start fighting since you'll run out of m21 ammo near the end.

my video is actually on veteran. you'll have to press G or your middle mouse button everytime a nade comes in. prone only as far as you can crouch, do not move inwards after you prone or you might not be able to reach all grenades

For me its when you run out like a madman and a mid-air, magical grenade blows up .

People wonder why you have to glitch this level, the veteran level has the enemy glitching! So ya gotta glitch back :)

hells no, it took me like a week on vet to bewat this board.I hid in the booth to the right of the ferris wheel by the bumber cars.I had to shoot the guys on the ferris wheel trying to throw nades in there. Then when the chopper came, I just waited a bit, took out the gys left, then ran like hell.
