This battle also showed how gunpowder ended the age of the knight. Great battle. His opponent shouldn't complain. He also had a breach of the normal rules: five horse archers, but he failed to use them against PoM's breach of the normal rules: cannons.
@airforce9872 Yeah, I've seen a couple, but I prefer when he wins. I'm just saying that when people criticize him for not putting battles he loses online that maybe not only does he usually win, but there is no crime in posting your wins instead of defeats.

Byzantines, being the immediate descendants of the Roman Empire of old, was a direct threat to the Muslim culture of the Turks. Try Mount & Blade for the PC, pretty much exactly as you described, large (not THIS big) battles, up to about 100-200 each side in each battle, third person.
Look it up, it's good shit man, you can even customize you character and buy new armor and stuff.
@chapeu09 Mounted Missile Units are stuck on skirmish mode. The only ways I can bring them down without Calvary are with archers and javelin-men or just bring out my heavy infantry and have them tank the arrows until they either charge or run out of ammo.
yea sort of,, but it would be cool if you have some a.i at your command (your only 1 char with roleplaying elements(buy gear and stuff and you can upgrade your own squad(it can be archers, cavalary, infantry, etc) and you got like 60 man at your command (you have different ranks the higher rank you have the more units are at your command) general is highest. so in total you can have 20 to 20 battles(= 40x60=2400 man, so huge battles!) and all this on xbox 360 or pc or ps3! awesomme.
@zipper091 the micro would b impossible, and games are maxed out in size and quality onthe pc, if yu cant do it on a pc a ps3 wouldnt b able to handle it

I have never have had real luck with halberd wielding infantry as in janissaries heavy infantry, swiss guard, those danish troop and others can anyone give some tips on them i can never seem to use them well

Byzantines, being the immediate descendants of the Roman Empire of old, was a direct threat to the Muslim culture of the Turks. The Turks were a Nomadic tribe during the early 1100's, starting a war with all of Christendom, the Papacy and all European nations, by invading the the holy land and capturing Jerusalem. The Byzantines were strong in infantry, and fought hard, but eventually toppled by Crusaders (OMG!!) during the 4th Crusade. Turks fell later after the Holy Wars ended in the 1400s.

@colonelchris92 Constantinople fell to the Turks in 1453, they survived the fall in1204 as the Byzantines recaptured the city relatively shortly after and the later Byzantine army was almost exclusively Cavalry

Try Mount & Blade for the PC, pretty much exactly as you described, large (not THIS big) battles, up to about 100-200 each side in each battle, third person.
Look it up, it's good shit man, you can even customize you character and buy new armor and stuff.

@chapeu09 Mounted Missile Units are stuck on skirmish mode. The only ways I can bring them down without Calvary are with archers and javelin-men or just bring out my heavy infantry and have them tank the arrows until they either charge or run out of ammo.

yea sort of,, but it would be cool if you have some a.i at your command (your only 1 char with roleplaying elements(buy gear and stuff and you can upgrade your own squad(it can be archers, cavalary, infantry, etc) and you got like 60 man at your command (you have different ranks the higher rank you have the more units are at your command) general is highest. so in total you can have 20 to 20 battles(= 40x60=2400 man, so huge battles!) and all this on xbox 360 or pc or ps3! awesomme.
