Comic Culture Warrior Season Finale: Marvel's Best of 2008 Part 1

Iron Man and Iron Fist are both great. However, my favorite Marvel book of the year is actually Patsy Walker: Hellcat. I have no idea if anyone is reading this thing, but it is so much fun. Completely silly with gorgeous artwork by David Lafuente and covers by Stuart Immonen. Issue #1 gets my vote for cover of the year. I would love to see this as an ongoing series. It's not for everyone I guess, but I think people should give it a shot.

Good call McQuerter! You're not the first person to sing Hellcat's praises to me, in fact, I know a comic shop owner who loves the book!

Some good picks there Johnny! I'd lean towards Iron Fist myself as Matt Fraction has turned into one of my fave writers. Nova by Abnett and Lanning is a good bet. Have never read Guardians myself, so I'll just take your word for it. ;-)
