This is one of the few shredder-type players that I can actually listen to, similar to Vinnie Moore. Because they know the value of good melodic lines....... unlike a lot of the random bullshit the young kids are playing these days.
@dance2noise002 finally someone who agrees. Im 17 and this is the stuff I listen to and write. Vinnie Moore, Tony MacAlpine, Rob Marcello, and Jason Becker
dude go watch the video of him with neo classical shred in the title, where he is by himself on a stage with a red guitar I believe. It is one of the sickest things I have ever seen on a guitar. this guy might be one of the best EVER, I don't even know who he is.
This song is 95% Steve Vai emulation. Thankfully he left out the other 5%, which is comprised of gay hip movements and "toe dancing" (really can't think of a better way to put it).
Robert Marcello never ceases to amaze me with his flawless playing. It's a sin this guy isn't more popular.
@Pheezlewhompers i dont see that much steve vai in it, maybe the main theme sounds a bit like steve but not much, and i dont think steve can play half of the stuff rob plays :D
@mitosinuca nah, you're wrong. he's not copying vai by a long way, but he is obviously HUGELY influenced by him. all that whammy bar control and the rolled off treble, high mids and neck pick up tone is vai all over. the scales and progressions are all vai. he's just ditched all the flamboyance and irrelevant nonsense from a vai performance and kept to the essentials of great technique, fluid passages and a nice feel for melody. definitely enjoyed this one
@mitosinuca Its heavily steve vai... actually some frases are kinda identical, check out for passion and warfare and fire garden to find the similarities, he´s not copying it directily thoug, it has a more heavy metal context

justinisasurfer 1 year ago
@justinisasurfer
In Japan, that technique is called cricket. In English... sorry, I'm not sure.
The way to do that is reeeeeally simple.
Pick any note, and slap your whammy bar! that's all :D
Sorry for my bad English btw ;q
I hope this helps.

He have some kind of magic.

@yamitanomura do u Plug the gt8 using the 4 cable method dude?
reddracken 1 year ago
@reddracken 4 cable? I use one for the guitar and phones out to the PC.
I don't know what should I do with 4 cables.
yamitanomura 1 year ago
@yamitanomura i have sent u a messege dude with a video of how to do it dude.
reddracken 1 year ago
@reddracken Thanks man!
yamitanomura 1 year ago
@yamitanomura You can get that tone when you play with headphones in it.
And that takes away the sound that you get in your room.
Because (believe it or not) when you have carpet on your ground it sounds alot better than when you have a metal floor.
So if you want to get closer to that tone you should probably get another room lol.
Or you can go crazy and with heavy metal tones turn the gain down a bit.
That trick also works with line 6 spider amplifiers.
So good luck with your mission of tone!!
