In that interview after he got traded he admitted to not trying his hardest, and frankly that's inexcusable when you're a professional athlete. However, VC put the Raptors on the map and he did so much for basketball in Canada so yes that hate he receives from most people in Toronto is unwarranted.

While he was on NJ he was voted to the all-star team at least twice and even in an off year last year he still manages to avg 20+ pts a game. I won't disagree with you that the way he left and faked those injuries was bitchy, but without him the Raptors would have no respect whatsoever.
before you jump to conclusions about the so called fake injuries. they werent. vince had surgery recently.. removing chipped bone fragments from his ankles.. yes ANKLE (S) plural... no fake injuries.. and i live in Brampton .. part of GTA..
My apologies I typed this a long time ago but I think I just said he faked to go along with the other guy so he wouldn't keep arguing wth me. Let's just say his tolerance for pain is very low, and although he has had some serious injuries a lot of them he overembelished the pain. I've twisted both my ankles seriously around 6 or 7 times, and it hurts like a bitch but only people with low pain thresholds react like he does.
