There's nothing like relegation to separate the real fans from the pretenders. Pretty high price to pay though. Being a Southampton supporter its been a long time since I've personally been able to identify an obvious 'fair weather' fan at a match. One of the few benefits of languishing in the Championship is that you know your fellow supporters are in it for the long-run, and have not just jumped on the bandwagon.
