@hum1ubernacht learn how to speak english before trying to berate the best team of ALL time! don't know wtf you are saying, but if you can't spell for shit
Im pretty sure the jersey or socks dont protect against anything, jersey is just reinforced so it doesnt rip and well really, dont know about the socks, but ive been caught in the shins many times
football (soccer) studs are totaly different rugby studs are dull and how the hell are a pair of socks suppost to protect your shins, no mention of scrum caps for locks
newzeland are only good at home, sure ireland are higher in the list than crappy cheating newzeland who cant play a game of rugby in the world cup for shit ,which you know ,at least our team does not try and seriousely injure other players like ,brian odriscoll v newzeland players 13 and 12 sucmbags where they tryied to break his neck like u and your team should not be allowed play sport scum scum scum scum scum scum fuck you go ride your biggest population on your country which is sheep haha
@SD78 Ahh enjoy that while you can, because every day that passes brings us closer to the day Ireland will beat you. And we will, you can bet on it :) You'd wanna be careful how you tempt Fate, she's a fickle lady heh heh.
just so people know a mouth guard isnt used to protect your teeth more as its used to stop you from biting off your tounge if you get badly hit in the jaw
no ur not to old to start cos my best m8 started wen he was 14 nd now hes bombing! hes one off our best forwards :D he plays second row with me :D iu play for a team called machen in wales :P nd it was a good match today :P but the better team one in the end :p nd we dident have old shanie :P
yes the cave man. Have you tried playing in a different position? If your big then play as the number 8. If your fast and nimble then play as a winger.
Rugby boots with metal studs are more for forwards who need the strong traction in the scrum, but backs can use soccer cleats but the metal bladed ones give more speed (so I hear, haven't ever tried them, I'm using Nike: F90's right now). If it's your first time starting rugby I'd suggest getting some cheap cleats at the start until you find your position and then choose appropriately.
well, my boots have 8 metal cleats. and my training soccer cleats are hardened plastic with alot more ridges, pretty big difference when you get one in the jaw.

They never will, either.

dont know, I wear football jersey, track pants (adidas, because they are soft and hard to break), and nike air shoes.

I had to look up what cleats were. Their boots and no soccer boots are different! Soccer have 6 studs. Rugby have 8 deeper studs normally.

forwards , or at least tight 5, are 8 studded usually but backs will want 6 studs or even blades or moulded studs they dont need as much grip
