sucks to be a sox fan? yeah it's really difficult knowing it was only 5 years ago since we were celebrating a world series win. the majority of the city are cubs fans (and even outside the city theres a fanbase, some proably havent step foot in Chicago), but that just shows that are fan base is in it for the team, and not for Boystown....sorry i meant wrigleyville. I'd rather have a smaller fan base than the cubs and to cheer for something that I can be proud of. GO SOX!!!!

The only difference between us is the field we play on and the location. Wrigley is considered by most people outside of White Sox nation as the greatest part in MLB to watch a game. they actually witheld all videos of this. and this wasnt even a fight, the cubs have proven they get their asses kicked in baseball fights, and there was no reason to fight. the throw was at least 5 seconds away, and barrett was covering the plate, AJ had the right to plow him over and he did the right thing, then Barrett took a bitch sucker punch, which did nothing. then the cubs were in trouble when the sox bench was clear in under 6 seconds.

I guarantee that if AJ was a Cub, you Cubbies fans would love him. That play in the ALCS on the dropped Strike 3 by AJ is the smartest baseball play I've ever seen. Did what every player should do in that situation. Didn't hear the ump call "out" verbally, why not run to first? Nothing bad can come out of it, and it certainly didn't there, as the Sox didn't lose another game.

Three things: 1. I know people have already said this, but that was a 'sucker punch'. 2. Cubs fans completely forget that soon after that, Scotty Pods piledrove MB into the grass in a way that Ray Lewis may be jealous of. 3. Even if I were a Cubs fan, it would be easy to see that Barrett has some major emotional problems.
