Two years is more than enough time to judge a president, and four years will be much, much more. I agree that Bush was not the greatest president, and also that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been nothing but a waste (you can't force freedom onto people, they have to take it themselves). But the idea that Obama is still dealing with problems that Bush created is totally untrue. Bush did not make Obama pass the healthcare bill, nor the bailouts. Those were his doing alone.
I seem to be the only one who realizes that theyre making him look like Hitler.
And I also seem to be the only one here remembering which part was in office when everything got fucked up.
Republicans, tell me the logic of this. "Our party was in office when everything turned to shit, and defended an 8 year war that led us literally nowhere except into the biggest deficit of all time. Now, the Democrats took over. Nothing is changing. So let us back in! :D"
@puppetmaster1101 It's not so simple as voting Republican or Democrat, the point is that George W. Bush was a mediocre president who governed during a period full of conflict and strife (which he didn't cause, but dealt with as best he knew how) but Obama is a terrible president, though a great speaker and orator, who is governing during a pivotal period that could potentially lead to prosperity or disaster.
@CxR2262 First, I want to think you greatly for being intelligent. I disagree with you, but the fact that you didnt scream gives me a large amount of respect for you.
Now, I know he did not start it and I know that he dealt with it the best that he could, I still think that George W Bush was the worst president we have ever had.
I also think Obama hasnt been in office long enough for us to decide if he really is a good or a bad president. He cant fix 8 years of Bush in only 2. No one can.
Those tea party folks are doing a wonderful job!
Lol!
