Hi my name is desiree my heart broke when i read the story of luna.The whale was very playful. I watched video footagewhen the girl was very excited about touching luna's tongue . I would have loved to meet him if he was still alive.I feel his pain when the people were told not to fed him.If that would have happened luna would have died from being lonely thats the worst kind of way to die.Luna's uncle was with him until he died and thats when luna left to be on his own.His mother didnt want him.

If you want to cry for a looong time, then check the documentary on Luna. The people of Nootka Sound were truly blessed for the years that Luna stayed there, although some may disagree as Luna could also be a little mischievous. @DiDiLovezUuu Luna was too curious and got chopped up by a huge ships propeller. They didn't even know it was luna.... It was that bad... so sad..

Yesterday i watched an 1 hour long story about Luna, his story made me cry so bad, plus he died the day of my birthday... RIP Luna we love you

@melody181716 Killer whales are Orcas. Killer whales are a common, but horrid, nickname for them. Actually, Orcas are dolphins.
