The X series takes a more serious road and Sigma shows up when he is clearly never at all hinted at to begin with. I don't like Sigma as a villain. Never did. It's more my opinion that anchors my dislike for seeing him in the sequels that follow and it becomes worse everytime. Like an intruder upon a good storyline that could have went elsewhere without Sigma and still make sense.

The only reason why Sigma got his ass handed to him so easily in this game is because Sigma's programming is damaged beyond what Gate can repair and he is reduced to a half-conscious and barely-functioning wreck due to his attempt to spread the sigma virus to corrupt Zero in X5.

Replayed this recently and found out if you have sheild sheldon's bullshit, you gotta select it from the menu once you go against mijinion. Then just sit in a corner and spam your Z buster, for some reason the Z-buster doesn't spawn more mijinions, and if you keep hitting the button, whenever his ground laser thing comes near you your sheild makes it go away. Keep doing this and rainy turtloids ability for bubbles and it's actually pretty easy
