NO! the smoothest way is to turn off anti-aliasing

AA doesn't make much difference.

The main performance killer is the shaders level.

Low is pointless and extra aliasing is prominent in the HUD.

Medium looks okay and is okay for older cards such as a 2600XT or a 8600GTS.

High is a great all rounder and looks pretty decent and enables water effects on the visor, god rays and amazing lighting system and overall detail.

Very High takes a HECK of a lot of GPU power to run but adds those final touches...

One comp is using an Athlon 64 X2 6000+ @ Stock 3GHz (Windsor 90nm, 89W) with a HD 5670 512MB GDDR5 @ Stock 775/950

My comp has a Q6700 (65nm, 85W, G0) @ 3.6GHz with two HD 5770 1GB (yes, 512MB models were made) cards in CF. I'm running at 1920x1080, the other computer is running at 1280x1024. Yet I have no issue with AA.

And in CrossFire the VRAM isn't added together - so it's still 1GB (I'm not too sure though. Both TrackMania and GTA4 say 2GB).

Really crysis is nothing more than just to say "I can run it." The game is pretty crap. Controls are somewhat annoying and it seems like your damn suit runs on a AA battery. Other than that nice video.

What you really need to play better is a Quadcore and bettr graphics. OC'ing the processor will not generate a large gain in performance. Its mostly all in the graphics card.
