@terry947 doesn't shed, doesnt scratch my hardwood floor might bite carpet a but if you watch them they learn not to do it. Also need to stop them from developing "small dog syndrome"

what should i do if i have a golden retriever that will bite at the yorkie if she goes near her when she's eating? should i just keep them away from each other? or try to get them together??

Hi xoxkatiejonasxox! I will do my best to answer your questions, I am not an expert!

1. Yorkies can have some bad health issues. It is very important to carefully select a puppy from a reputable breeder that has the parents. The parents' health is a good indicator of the puppy's health.

2. My Yorkies hair is short. It is cut every 4-8 weeks.

3. Dogs biting (anyone) while eating more complicated than a short answer. My suggestion is training for both dogs, and supervision while eating.

If you have another dog that'd bite the Yorkshire Terrier don't bother buying one as a Yorkshire Terrier pup wouldn't have a chance against a big dog.

i have to ask this out of curiosity, why do some people cut the tails off their dogs?

I wish they didn't. I looked and couldn't find any in my area that didn't dock the tails. I do know that there is growing awareness to not dock the tails of dogs. I have seen that places, such as Australia, have already outlawed this practice. It is a good question.

I just got another puppy from my husband for our anniversary about a month ago. His name is Sam. Sam never barks! Ever! He is now 4 months old and he has barked less than five times since we have had him! He just whimpers! Our first puppy, the one in this video, barked on the first night - at EVERTHING!
