Honestly I think it's stupid to have a day of silence. Being silent for a day to prove a point is probably one of the worst ways to. It shows the people that you're a push over and they can say what they want to you. Why not have a different way of showing it? Something that gets your point across rather than being silent.

yes, I developed feelings, But I didnt choose to. It happened just as if he was a girl, only...he wasnt. Who would choose to be gay considering how much crap some people take for it. Some people could be born that way... Im not them so I dont know.
Oh, and I dont NEED to turn my life around. You wanna hear something about choice? I choose to be a good person, which is more important than orientation anyday.

Larry King was killed by a student whom Larry was harrassing. Larry had been touching the other boy inappropriately, stalking him, and making sexual advances toward him. In every case this other boy rejected the actions and clearly showed that he was not interested and was not gay. Larry's harrassment continuted anyway. Things came to a boiling point when Larry loudly asked this boy to be his valentine so that all the class could hear him. Larry was shot for being a bully, not for being gay.

My Orchestra teacher made my bisexual friend and I talk yesterday, she told us that the day of silence doesnt work in her classroom and that the teacher who told us to stand up for it had no right to do so.
I am seriously thinking of complaining to my administrator about a violation of Right to Assembly.
