  • great job! anyone knows the name of the second tune?

  • WONDERFUL! and thank youf or not "pacing" (marching). That pacing business is rather overdone.

  • No-one marches during strathspeys and reels.

  • Yes, you march during marches, not strathspeys and reels, (or jigs or hornpipes).

I guess that's why they are called marches.

  • we have the same tutor ,,stephen power but she is magnificent i could never play like that in a million yrs arrrrgh stephen

  • Great video thanks for posting. Does anybody know the name of the second tune she plays? please and thanks :)

  • @TarikJosephProd

    Seonaidh's Tune

  • NOT TO BE SEXIST

but some pipers(mostly women) do not look comfortable when playing their pipes but congrats Margaret Dunn for being comfortable with your pipes!!!!!!!!

  • C'mon, audience! You can applaud better than THAT for what she did. That was hardcore SKILL displayed and musically entertaining as well.

  • What amazese is how loose her fingers are. You can't see hardly any veins, loose means open embellishments.

  • Folks, I have had to remove some offensive posts, put up for reasons I don't understand. I put these videos up for people to enjoy, not make weirdo comments. Apologeticsman, where do get off calling me a "dope head"? You know nowt about me. I hope the rest of you enjoy the tunes.

  • @ScotPipingSocLondon We're with you Adam - you're doing a fine job!

Margaret - Good Luck with the baby!!

  • As good as any. Would easily compete with Gordon Walker, Stuart Liddell etc

    Anyone knows the tunes?

  • The first one is Highland Whisky. A classic pipe tune that has lately been overlooked in recent times (til now) I think

  • Brilliant!

  • It does not get any better than this..!!

  • Great stuff!!!

  • The best sounded pipes I ever heared.

Who is the maker and what kind of reeds are in?

  • She plays Henderson pipes and I believe Canning reeds (these might have been taken before the introduction of Canning reeds).

Nice sound indeed, but the chanter needs to be about 4 to 6 hertz lower (I'm sorry, I'm just not a fan of the modern high pitch).

  • Friggin love her. Great stuff!

  • did u miss a strike margaret ,connor =]

  • Glad someone at least kicked up a bit at this event. Others were really conservative and played really street band stuff. Great job Margaret!

  • Great Piping!!!!!!

  • MMM, wonderful.

  • A good performance, very precise.
