Very nice looking system. So just how helpful were the plans that you got from Doug at Growfish? We are thinking of buying a set. Did the system work per the plans? How many fish in the tank? At what size do you sell? What part of the country are you located? Tilapia? Do you sell locally or to a processor? How long to grow a batch? No automatic feeders. Do you hand feed? How much oxygen do you use in a month? Hope you don't mind all the questions, if you view our video,you'll see we are serious.
@fishandworms They were very nice. We made some changes to work with our building. We can get up to 2,500 market size per tank but we have issues with failing oxeygen sensors so we normally don't go over 1,800. We are located in Racine, WI, we sell locally and we ship them live. Yes they are Tilapia and we usually ship about 2+ lbs. We hand feed, kind of sloppy but one day we will either go auto or at least keep track of the lbs of food we give per feeding. Righ now we just play it by feel.
steel tank !?! just curious, how thick is the metal to hold that much water?
