@Palmerifics I'll be honest I was too impressed by the engine. Of course, it's the Wii, but the problem is that it doesn't match the game's great artwork. The cartoon like artwork is impressive - and the game's meant to be about "painting" the world or erasing it - and the world doesn't look painted - it looks blocky and like every other game. That's apart from the 2D mini-games that look brill.
@ptsteen Yeah It's a shame it doesn't appear to be living up to the steampunk-like artwork, but hopefully it will become better over it's development (it still looked like it was in it's early beta, so hopefully it was LOL.)
@ptsteen IGN just posted an article with this to say about Epic Mickey "It's rumored that this project, which was first revealed last fall, has been undergoing some pretty significant upgrades in both style and scope since we had our first look in October. Will the result be an even grittier game, or could the Big D have decided to reign in some of Epic Mickey's more extreme ideas? We'll find out in just a few weeks. "

Could be.... But you got to admit, KH could had been as popular as it is whitout the Disney Characters. And I don't know what Disney thinks about KH, really. In the same way, I don't see SquareEnix giving someone else the liscense to make a KH game, not mentioning SquareEnix making a Plataform Adventure.
Think about it as God Of War and the upcoming Dante's Inferno: They're kinda like the same in almost EVERYTHING, but was made by different companies and people. And both games are not Tie-in.
KH it's more about putting the Square mark in Disney. This is more like Disney going through a more "Adult" concept. You don't really play KH because of Mickey, Donald & Goofy, you play it for the "Cool-Hair-Bright-Eyes-Fashion-Clothes-Anime-Like" characters of Square. People will play Epic Mickey for Mickey, and how this new concept for him will be. (Sorry if there's bad english... I'm from Argentina :p)
even though the main disney characters had a big part in it, too. it was'nt just about square characters. to that end, lake this one guy says in one of the epic mickey vids on youtube... this should have been a kingdom hearts tie-in.
