Both nitro and electric have their + and - (on second thought, only the electric has that)... :-)

Yes, each wheel is made up of a rear Traxxas 2.2 nylon rim with the center (for access to the axle nut) and outer lip/edge cut off and that side of the rim is glued into a Traxxas front 2.2 nylon rim. These rims are the old Stampede rims with the different front/rear offset. The tires are Pro-line Sand paws stretched across the wide rims. Hope this made sense.

what did you do for the wheels and rims on this thing? did you make them yourself out of multiple rims? and what did you use for the tires?
