  • It makes sense because even IF that was Colorado thing was true, it could take years for them to set up, wait no depends if Colorado is conservative then they could just buy politicians and have no regulations

  • Just because they dont make the most oil doesnt mean they dont sell alot to your country... Canada is like the 4th country exporting oil but Canada is almso going to succed Saudi Arabia is exports to US

  • what i wanna know is, why is there oil in the earth in the first place, it sure is shit wasnt intended for cars, or anything weve made and, is it really a good idea to be pumping it out of the planet, at oh i dont know a billion gallons a day

  • @JWshark2012 Nice call. I believe the oil acts as a lubricant for tectonic plates. A dramatic increase in natural disasters wouls not be out of the question

  • Don't be used ! Stop all unnecessary trips NOW ! Don't think it will work ? it did in 08 . when gas hit 4.00 people really cut back and oil went from $140.00 a barrel to 36.00 ! DON'T PLAY THERE GAME .

  • @CactusBobsPlace No disagreement here. Might as well look up "hydrogen fuel cell" while your at it

  • This all comes down the stock market. Traders will look at world events such as mid-east turmoil, North Korea ringing war bells and other situations. Based upon this they can forecast on the speculation that demand will go up. They raise the price to curb demand. Is it legal? Unfortunately yes. We have keep the debate going. Keep asking questions and claim we cannot be silenced and locked away. We are damned human beings and we have to do everything within our power to remove the former.

  • @BringYourBallsCanada Demand is constantly going up but supply, ironically, is going up as well (if you consider these reserves that were previously "undiscovered"). They've created this illusion that "oil is running out" or "we have less than 20 years of oil left" to artificially raise prices when clearly that is not the case.

  • @danbusinessman And this is what we call "The Illusion of Scarcity". Yes, another market tactic that is only put in place to keep commodity prices up. Do you really think an oil company is going to divulge information about a huge find? No way. If they did then surely suppy will go up thus the price will go down. They are only trying to keep their profit margins in check for the oil already pumped. Meanwhile, Joe down the street is scrounging for pennies in order to keep the lights on.
